The Black Tip Acraea or Black-tipped Acraea (''Acraea caldarena'') is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in southern and south-eastern Africa. The wingspan is 40–50 mm for males and 45–55 mm for females. Adults are on wing year round, with a peak from August to April in southern Africa.〔Woodhall, S.
